Dr Amar Khosa is a female General Dentist.
Amar graduated from the University of Otago with Distinction in a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and worked for two years as an Assistant Dentist at Phoenix Dental, Whakatane before joining the team at Lumino Como Street.
Amar enjoys making her patients feel as comfortable as possible through building warm, professional relationships where patients feel comfortable discussing their oral health needs with her. Amar takes a holistic approach to tailor all patient treatments to meet their health and aesthetic needs.
Amar is interested in minimal intervention and preventative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and tooth whitening. She is eager to continue growing her knowledge through courses in root canal treatment and wisdom tooth surgery. Beginning in June, Amar will be taking an IV Sedation course, as she wants to give her patients the best ability to drift off to a comfortable, relaxed state of mind while having their dental treatment done.
