Dr Andrea E Westerhout is a female .
Dr Andrea Westerhout graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2010 where she was awarded prizes in restorative and paediatric dentistry. She has spent the majority of her career working in family private practice. She now also assists with clinical work for an orthodontic practice.
Andrea is passionate about improving the lives of her patients by helping them with their oral health and improving their smiles. She has a strong interest in the overall health of the mouth and its connection to the body, in particular the airway, shape of jaws and alignment of teeth. She has undertaken postgraduate studies in dentofacial orthopaedics and orthodontics and has assisted many patients in managing airway-related issues and malalignment of the teeth.
Andrea is also an experienced practitioner in root canal treatments, extractions, dentures, restoring implants and treating children. She continuously updates her professional knowledge to ensure her patients are receiving the most up-to-date and innovative care. She prides herself in her attention to detail and endeavours to treat patients gently in a calm environment.
