BDS (Otago), DClinDent (Prosthodontic) (Otago), Specialist Prosthodontist
Dr Constance Law is a female Specialist Prosthodontist.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery in 2005 from the University of Otago. After graduation I worked as a House Surgeon at the Wellington Hospital and the subsequent years as a general dentist in a private practice. During this time I did simple rehabilation cases for my patients and they were thrilled to get function and improvment in their overall appearance due to how their teeth looked. I slowly developed a passion for this type of work which resulted in my undertaking a three-year full time Doctorate program in Prosthodontics at the University of Otago in 2009. My doctoral research focused on the effect of mandibular deformation on peri-implant strain distribution and she has published in international journals.
I trained in all areas of Prosthodontics so my patients have accesss to a full range of restorative, rehabilitation and aesthetic services at a specialist level. I am experienced in removable dentures, crown and bridge, implant-supported restorations and maxillo-facial prosthodontics with a special interest in conventional prosthodontics and implant-supported restorations.
I believe in providing my patients the highest quality of care, with an emphasis on understanding the needs and concerns of my patients. I am committed to life-long learning and participate in continuing education to ensure I am abreast with the current literature and treatment procedures.
