Dr David J Chin-Shong is a male .
David works onsite at our Palmerston North practice for treatments including implants, complex extractions and biopsies, so you can remain in the familiar comfort of our practice throughout the process. He is an ACC registered and insurance-affiliated provider, and is able to administer IV sedation.
He is a proud recipient of two UK Aesthetic Dentistry awards which he credits to the importance of teamwork and he is very excited to be a part of the MDG team. David graduated Medicine in 1996 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and Dentistry in 2002 from University College Cork. He pursued his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in London and Liverpool, receiving his consultant qualifications in 2006. He credits his Asian father with teaching him the importance of hard work and diligence, and his Irish mother with the value of people skills and the art of communication.
