Dr Edwin YL Ling is a male General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Edwin Ling completed his medical degree from the University of Queensland at the end of 1999. His internship started at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and subsequently he gained experience in various fields of medicine including intensive care.
His junior medical training took him around Queensland including Bowen, Gladstone, Maryborough and Laidley. His experience in maxillofacial surgery started in 2003.
In 2009 Dr Ling completed his dental degree from UQ. The subsequent years were spent completing all of the maxillofacial surgery training time and requirements. The training took him to various centres including: Townsville, Melbourne, Hobart, Hamilton and Auckland where he gained experience in all aspects of maxillofacial surgery training.
After 14 years in maxillofacial surgery training, his last public posting was as a Maxillofacial Surgery Fellow covering Tweed Heads/Lismore NSW. He commenced private practice in 2017. Dr Ling currently practices as a fully qualified dental surgeon and medical practitioner registered with AHPRA.
Apart from his basic medical and dental degree, Dr Ling has been specifically trained in: extractions, wisdom teeth, dental implants, temporomandibular dysfunction, sleep apnoea, sedation dentistry, cosmetic injectables, and facial aesthetics.
Dr Ling supports and adheres to the codes of conduct promoted by the ADA and the AMA and he believes strongly in the principles of honesty, accountability, informed consent and first-do-no-harm.
