Dr Lizzie Gilks is a female General Dentist.
I completed my dental degree in Cardiff, U.K. in 2013 during which time I was involved in providing emergency dental treatment to communities in rural India and Ghana. I then spent a year working as a house officer in the University Hospital of Wales Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, where I completed my membership examinations (MFDS) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. These experiences gave me a huge insight into handling a wide range of cases, as well as managing medically compromised, emergency and special needs patients.
Since then I have enjoyed working in general dental practice in the UK and now New Zealand, with a particular interest in oral surgery, restorative dentistry and treating anxious patients. I am dedicated to providing high quality care and commit much of my time to continuing professional development to ensure I am working at the forefront of the latest techniques in dentistry.
Having had kind and caring dental experiences as a child, I always strive to put patients at ease with my friendly manner and provide dental treatment in a relaxed, calm environment.
