Dr Guy Margetts (BDS, BSc, PgDipHealInf) is the lead dentist and previous owner of Greymouth Family Dental Centre, which he owned for 20 years. Prior to moving to the West Coast in 1995 Guy worked in oral surgery and hospital units in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia, having had multiple dental surgeon roles including District Dental Officer.
Guy has a clinical interest in conscious sedation and oral surgery including wisdom teeth and implants. He also offers general oral health care to patients of all ages. Guy is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and dental sedation, paediatric and implant societies. He regularly travels to Nepal and India with Global Dental Relief, a charitable organisation, providing free dental care to refugee children and their families. Guy is also a member of the advisory board for Global Dental Relief.
