Dr Julian MH Haszard is a male Specialist Orthodontist.
Julian is a New Zealander from New Plymouth, educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, followed by the University of Otago, where he qualified as a dentist. Julian was accepted for post-graduate study at the University of Melbourne, and completed his degree in 2007, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in orthodontics and Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons.
Since graduating, Julian has practiced orthodontics in Britain and in New Plymouth. Julian is totally committed to continuing education and keeping abreast of the best of what is new in orthodontics. Julian will be offering patients treatments which may include Damon braces, Invisalign and lingual (invisible) braces, in which Julian has formal certification.
In his spare time, Julian supports a dental aid organisation in Nepal, SmileHigh, which he co-founded in 2004. Julian also has an interest in adventure and high altitude mountaineering. He has climbed three of the fourteen 8,000 metre mountains. In 2004 Julian reached the summit of Mt Everest and in 2009 was the first New Zealander to summit Mt Manaslu. Julian uses climbing to raise funding and awareness for SmileHigh.
