DDS (Michigan), General Dentist
Dr Kathleen S Sandberg is a female General Dentist.
Dr Kathleen Sandberg graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry (USA) in 1994 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree. (Ranked #3 in the United States).
She had her own practice in California, but decided that the professional/work focus needed to be shifted. In 2007, she and her husband, together with their son, decided to pick up and move to New Zealand for a better lifestyle. Kathleen again opened a dental practice and became the official dentist of the Wellington Phoenix Football Club during her time in Wellington. After 6 good years in Welly, she and her family decided to move to Auckland for better weather, and haven’t looked back. Once yet again, Kathleen has decided to open up another practice- this time with a twist. Knowing that her own son would soon need braces, Kathleen decided to focus mainly on orthodontics.
Teeth Movers does just this. It is not a general dentist’s office and it is not a orthodontic speciality office. Kathleen likes to think of Teeth Movers as an dental office that has “a special interest in orthodontics and a few other medical/dental services”. And because Dr. Sandberg enjoys both orthodontics and facial aesthetics more than “every day general dentistry", she decided to open up a practice that focuses on what she likes best. And while Dr. Sandberg will perform a complimentary cleaning, “scale and polish” after the removal of Fastbraces®, she will not perform any fillings or cavities that may be required prior to getting the braces. For this, Dr. Sandberg will refer back to your therapist/dentist just as a specialist orthodontist will do.
