Dr Krystel P Fernandes is a female General Dentist.
Krystel started her medical career in the field of Neuroscience at Auckland University, graduating with a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences. Looking for a change in pace, she explored the world of oral health. Impressed by the difference it can make to a person’s quality of life, she pursued and graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours.
Krystel went on to work as an Oral and Maxillofacial House Surgeon for the Auckland District Health Board at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Buckland Road Clinic. She has volunteered her time with the underprivileged community in Rarotonga and has received four research studentship scholarships.
Krystel enjoys the variety of general dentistry and always endeavors to achieve the highest quality in her work. She is very caring, gentle and strives to put her patients at ease. She strongly believes in continuing education to keep updated with the latest technology and research and regularly attends courses to this effect.
