Dr Jack Hwang is a male General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Jack Hwang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Otago and he has found Dentistry a rewarding career by delivering high-quality services to his patients. He always puts his patient’s interests first. He likes to involve them in treatment planning and work with them to come up with the best treatment possible. Knowing that coming to see a dentist can be a scary thing for most people, he believes in taking time to make sure his patient is comfortable and relaxed. And as long as his patient understands the consequences of each treatment option, he will fully support their decision. He likes to continuously improve himself and keep up to date with the latest techniques and technology. He enjoys Oral Surgery, fixed prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. However, he has plans to expand his knowledge in all areas of General Dentistry.
Dr Hwang was originally from Taiwan, but his family moved to Christchurch when he was young. After work, he enjoys the outdoor lifestyle in New Zealand and likes to play tennis or go hiking regularly with his mates. He is also fluent in both Mandarin and English. He still loves Taiwanese food and love to go to Taiwanese restaurants.
