Dr Maia K Tapsell is a female General Dentist.
I grew up in Tauranga and Maketū and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, following a PostGrad Diploma in Science (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Māori Studies.

I whakapapa to Te Arawa and am excited to be working in my rohe. I have a gentle, holistic and evidence-based approach to dentistry. I enjoy creating a warm environment for my patients and providing the tools for patients to take charge of their oral health.
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, and have special interests in oral surgery, endodontics and aesthetic dentistry. I am also a member of the Te Ao Mārama NZ Māori Dental Association and the NZ Society of Forensic Dentistry.
