Dr Mathew C Popham is a male General Dentist.
Mat Popham graduated as a Dental Surgeon in 1996 from Otago University. Upon graduating he spent two years in the hospital system. This was followed by a year working in private practice in Wellington before heading off on a two year OE with wife Anna Fulton. Five years later we came home to start a family. Holly and then Toby came along to fill our house with noise, joy and excitement.
I am a general dentist, jack of all trades and problem solver by instinct. I have special interests in minor oral surgery, Implantology and Forensic dentistry. I was privileged to be involved with Disaster Victim identification after the Christchurch earthquake and Carterton balloon crash. These trying situations bring the greatest level of personal and professional satisfaction of a job well done.
I enjoy going to work every day and look forward to the challenges to come.
