Dr Grace Chong is a female General Dentist.
Grace came to NZ in her teenage years and had her goal set to become a confident and useful member of the society. It was never her intention from the beginning to become a dentist. In fact, Grace pictured herself being a journalist travelling around NZ and the world. However like anything in life, she stumbled upon the profession in dentistry and did thrive on it while at University of Otago. She graduated from The University of Otago – School of Dentistry in 2003, among the top 20 of her year. Grace found her first job in Wellington and spent 2 wonderful years building her relationships with her doting patients. When an opportunity came to purchase a small young practice in Flat Bush, she and her then fiancé Henry decided to make the big move. 6 years into running the small dental practice, the need for a larger place became obvious. In 2013, after much planning and thought put in, they moved to this well designed and purposely fitted out practice. This is the Botany South Dental you see in its current form.
Grace’s patients often complement her on her unique “chair side manner”. Patients describe her as gentle and informative. Grace believes the best decision can only be made when all the relevant information is given, and she understands how important this is when it comes to medical and dentally related matters. She will spend time explaining treatment plan to you and encourage you to ask questions. It is important for everyone to understand that there is not just only one way to fix the dental problem and understanding this is sometimes a complex process. Grace will guide you with her expertise to suit your individual life style, budget and expectations.
