Yash graduated from the University of Otago in 2004. After graduation he moved to Melbourne and lived and worked there for three years. During this time he gained a wealth of experience in cutting edge cosmetic dentistry working with the latest technology. In Melbourne he performed various complex procedures which included cosmetic laser teeth whitening; CAD-CAM (Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing) restorations; and implant restorations. He also carried out routine procedures such as root canals, white (composite resin) filings and crown and bridge restorations.
In 2008 he returned to Dunedin with his wife and has worked in private practice and also as a clinical tutor at the Dental School since. Yash enjoys all facets of dentistry but particularly excels at fixed prosthodontic procedures (crowns, bridges and implant restorations). He is constantly attending conferences and seminars so rest assured the care being delivered is up to date and of the highest quality. His practice philosophy is to treat everyone as if they are family and clients regularly comment on his gentle, relaxed and caring nature.
