Dr Yuen Xin Chia is a female General Dentist.
Yuen completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago. Her family has roots in Malaysia, but New Zealand has been home for a few years now.
Dr Yuen Chia enjoys dentistry as a craft that combines aspects of science and health, architecture and artistry. She takes pride in creating a welcoming and safe place where you will feel comfortable to discuss the dental health you want, and how she can help you achieve it. Her aim is to always find the most appropriate care plan for each of her patients that meets their own personal and oral health requirements. She does this by listening to her patients’ needs and wants, and not judging them, so she can deliver solutions and treatments in the most efficient and pain-free manner possible.
Yuen especially enjoys creating a positive change in her patient’s confidence and quality of life, through restoring their oral health to its best, this gives her a lot of job satisfaction.
Dr Chia is a bright and friendly part of our team; her natural positivity and enthusiasm comes through when you meet her. As does her competency and understanding of dentistry. She is genuine and caring and has a gentle manner.
Her areas of interest include preventative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. And with the aid of the technology available at this dental practice, she is proud to be able to provide a large range of quality dental care to her patients. Her favourite part of dentistry is taking joy in the ability to restore her patients’ self-confidence to smile again.
