Mr Abdul Kayed is a male Clinical Dental Technician.

After growing up in Palmerston North, Abdul moved down to the South Island to complete his degree in dental technology at the University of Otago. He remained down south working as a dental technician, while completing his clinical degree. Abdul has missed the beautiful north island weather, and has made the move back up to set up his dental lab in Te Puke, and become part of the Tooth Fairy Dental team providing denture services at each Tooth Fairy Dental location.

Abdul has always enjoyed working with his hands, making things, solving problems and has always been a bit of a perfectionist. He is also a very caring and empathetic person, taking great pride in his work, focusing on manufacturing quality dentures, that look great and function well. Having taken the time to listen to a patients’ needs and concerns, he gets great satisfaction seeing them walk out with a genuine smile.

Abdul keeps up to date with the developments in the industry, and is always excited to learn new ways to improve the patients’ outcome.
